The installation of the ride began at the end of June with four Wiegand fitters and a client team in the Lovcen National Park, Montenegro's biggest mountain range.
The Alpine Coaster, which is approximately 1.1 km long, is an important component of the new tourist infrastructure, which will also include a new cable car, a restaurant, and numerous other attractions.
The fitters' work on site was difficult because the terrain is mostly loose rubble with some fairly steep areas.
However, the work is now complete, the facility has been given the blessing of the German TÜV, and it has been handed over to the operator for use.
