Alpine Coaster P2000 installed in the Pyrenees and cleared for launch

Built in conjunction with the team of our French partner firm Caratech, an Alpine Coaster run almost 900m long with a 400m uphill track has been installed in the French Pyrenees.

Particular features of this Alpine Coaster are long, straight speed sections alternating with curves and bends – even without any spectacular looped structures, the track promises fast, thrilling rides.

Following completion of the Alpine Coaster installation, the client needed to take care of a few remaining bits of work before, in mid-June, formal technical acceptance was carried out by the German TÜV organisation, and the new attraction was approved for operation.

The run’s official opening is scheduled for 5 July.

The Alpine Coaster P2000 is the fourth in the Pyrenees: the coaster run in  Hautacam on the French side has been in use since 2007 and in Andorra, not that far at all from the P2000, there are two further tracks.
