Alpine Coaster and Summer Toboggan Runs
Over the last year, we reported on 13 coasters, in 2016, there were 17 at a total length of almost 11.4 km. The total number of uphill run metres now lies at around 6100. Plus, an existing system was extended with a 430 m downhill and 150 m uphill track. Three other Alpine coasters were fitted with our "Distance Control" driving assistance system. For a long time now, we have once again built a classic summer toboggan run of the type "Roll version". The system in Switzerland boasts a length of approx. 500 m and the lifter is approx. 185 m long.
Wie-Li
In the Kurdish Pank Park, the existing Wie-Li was extended with an additional section of 70 m in length, which runs directly over the canyon. The extension of the twin-bob there is planned for the start of 2017.
Dry slides
This year again, the order book was filled with a host of extraordinary projects. A total of 25 "large projects" (total length 1133m !!!), 12 in the "small projects" category (total 98m), plus four children's water slides at a total length of 35m have been built.
Water slides
There was also a lot of activity around the water slides. 29 large slides of the most diverse types and equipment at a total length of 2233m were erected alongside 10 wide slides at a total length of 169 m.
Spring weir
Three spring weirs at lengths between 8 and 26m were built this year in Germany and Switzerland; the construction of another 78m long system was started and is due to be completed in the spring of 2017.
New hall built
The shell for the new production and storage hall is almost completed. Weather permitting, the work will be finished by the end of February, so there is nothing to stop the production areas from moving in the first quarter of 2017.
