The recreational attraction in Prague has undergone extensive expansion in recent months. After more than 20 years of operation of the existing summer toboggan run, the entire bridge structure was first modernized. The previous wooden elements were replaced with steel components, laying the groundwork for the next phase of development: the construction of a new Alpine Coaster.
As part of the expansion, the station for the existing summer toboggan run was also relocated. As a result, the stations for the summer toboggan run and the Alpine Coaster are now parallel to each other. This layout enables particularly efficient operation of both attractions.
The new Alpine Coaster launches from a slide ramp approximately eight meters high, ensuring a dynamic ride right from the start. The track initially runs parallel to the existing summer toboggan run before the two attractions diverge to offer different riding experiences.
The project is complemented by a new themed dining area. There, an additional six stainless-steel slides ranging in length from four to eleven meters will be integrated.
Upon completion of the project, the recreational destination will offer an expanded range of attractions, including the summer toboggan run, the Alpine Coaster, and other recreational elements. The facility thus combines the existing attraction with new ways for visitors to enjoy the site.
