The year is coming to an end and it its time to take stock. 2015 was marked by a high number of exceptional projects, with which the company was able to consolidate its position as market leader in international competition in the summer toboggan run sector.Alongside a few retro-fits to existing systems, 14 Alpine Coasters with the related uphill transport systems were produced worldwide in 2016 are there are already 9 orders pending for 2016.
The transport and adventure run Wie-Li® from 1997, now on the market for 10 years, was given a total face-lift in terms of design and functionality. The new car, available as a convertible and cab, features space for six people with ski equipment, sleds or bikes. The major project in the Kurdish Pank Park was completed and three more systems in Austria and Germany have been completed or are under construction.
The electrically driven Bobkart, our summer toboggan run for flat terrain, was built in Berettyoujfalu in Hungary. Another system in the Netherlands was converted and upgraded.
An approximately 310 m long "Mystical Hex" was set up in the cable cars in the Thale Adventure World next to the "original model" operated since 2003 in the Harz region.
There was also a lot of work in the dry slide sector. Over 50 slides of different types and sizes at a total length of approximately 1300 metres have been installed worldwide.
Our partner company wiegand.maelzer, responsible for the sale of our water slides, was also extremely active. 38 large water and 25 wide slides made of stainless steel and GRP were sold this year and set up by our fitters.
One "out of the ordinary" product is our spring weir. In Austria, a system was completed, and in Freyburg an der Unstrut, a 80 m long existing weir was raised by 15 cm to boost the performance of the hydroelectric plant operated there.
The number of employees rose this year from 240 to 256, including 28 trainees in the technical and commercial areas.
