Alpine Coaster opened in Donghae/Korea

Autumn of last year saw the assembly of a 900-m long Alpine Coaster start in Donghae, a city on the East Sea in South Korea.
The first major construction phase was completed shortly before Christmas and the second part of the assembly began at the end of March this year. At this rate, the distance control, the lift, the garaging and the electrical installation were made ready for operation by the fitters.

After the work was completed, the system was approved by the German TÜV in November and opened to the public for one day. This went down amazingly with the guests. Originally, the official opening was not planned until March of next year, but the place is so popular with the public that the city of Donghae has already decided to open the system permanently. Visitor numbers are around 600/day at the weekend and around 300 on weekdays.

We would like to thank all those involved in the project for their excellent work and wish the operator lots of fun driving and many satisfied guests all round.
