Wie-Li® opens successfully in Pank Park Kurdistan

In March 2014 assembly work began on the Wie-Li® in Pank Park in Kurdistan.

Now there is further good news: The plant is "provisionally" complete and has been approved for operation. Two sections of the 1,750 m-long Wie-Li® rise up far above the rock face, offering spectacular views of the nearly 300 m-deep canyon. Special steel structures were developed and assembled for this new feature. Bridges between 8 and 24 m in length enable roads and paths in the park to be crossed. Numerous bends and two uphill stretches further increase the enjoyment level for guests.

The transport capacity of the Wie-Li® in Pank Park is up to 700 people per hour, with a modernised form of the cabin in use. The enclosed car offers room for up to six people. It is not just the outer appearance that has been altered, the functionality has also been changed somewhat. For example, the doors open upwards at the touch of a button, enabling the guests to enter and exit the stationary vehicle conveniently and without complication.

"Provisionally complete" means that a number of improvements, amendments and final work remains to be carried out. In addition, the customer also plans a further stage over the canyon – we will keep you informed.
