The operation of this Facebook page including the processing of personal data of the user is undertaken on the basis of our legitimate interest in the up-to-date and supportive provision of information and interaction for and with our users and visitors in accordance with art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. Processing of personal data by Facebook

In its ruling of 5 June 2018 the European Court of Justice (ECJ) ruled that the operator of a Facebook page is jointly responsible with Facebook for the processing of personal data. We are aware that Facebook processes the data of users for the following purposes:

  • Advertising (analysis, creation of personalised advertising)
  • Creation of user profiles
  • Market research.

For the saving and further processing of this information Facebook utilises cookies, small text files that are saved on the various terminal devices of the users. If the user has a Facebook profile and is logged into this, saving and analysis also occurs across all devices.

The data protection declaration of Facebook contains further information on data processing:

So-called opt-outs to these can be established here and here. Facebook Inc., the US parent company of Facebook Ireland Ltd. Is certified under the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield and thereby commits itself to observe European data protection guidelines. Further information on the Privacy Shield status of Facebook can be found here. The transfer and further processing of personal data of the user in third countries, such as the USA, and the associated possible risks for the user cannot be ruled out by us as operator of the page.

Statistical data

We are able to access statistical data of various categories via the so-called “insights” of the Facebook page. These statistics are generated and made available by Facebook. As operator of the page, we have no influence over the generation and presentation. We are not able to cease this function or prevent the generation and processing of data. For a selectable period and for the respective categories of fans, subscribers, people reached and interacting people we are provided by the following data from Facebook, relating to our Facebook page:

Total number of times page accessed, “Like” details, page activities, post interaction, range, video views, post range, comments, shared content, replies, share of men and women, origin based on country and town, language, calls and clicks in the shop, clicks on route planner, clicks on telephone numbers. Similarly, this method is also used to provide data on the Facebook groups linked to our Facebook page. The continuous development of Facebook alters the availability and presentation of the data, with the consequence that we refer to the aforementioned data protection declaration of Facebook regarding this. We use this data in aggregated form to make the posts and activities on our Facebook page more attractive to users. For example, we use the breakdown of age and gender for a tailored approach and the favoured visiting times of users for the time-optimised planning of our posts. Information about the type of terminal devices used by visitors helps us to adapt the optical design of the posts accordingly. In accordance with the Facebook terms of use, which all visitors agree to in the scope of the creation of a Facebook profile, we are able to identify the subscribers and fans of the page and view their profiles as well as further information that they have shared.

Rights of the users

As only Facebook has full access to the user data, we recommend that you contact Facebook directly if you have information queries or other questions regarding your rights as user (e.g. right to deletion). If you require assistance with this or have any other questions, please feel free to contact us via e-mail at info@wiegandslide.de. If you no longer wish to have the data processing described here in the future, please remove the link of your user profile to our page by utilising the “Unlike” function.
