Since the beginning of 2019 there is the largest walk-in wooden adventure ball in the world at Lake Steinberg in the South of Germany with its impressive height of 40m. The view from up there goes over the Lake District to the Upper Palatinate Forest.
The twins Julia and Stephanie especially love the 250m long, spectacular stainless-steel tunnel slide installed by Josef Wiegand in the center of the wooden ball. Daredevils ride down on especially designed slide mats.
For an entry in the Guinness Book of Records, however, MANY slide sequences are necessary – and with it comes the spiral path all the way up to the top of the structure. Julia and Stephanie have already proven their endurance twice. In the spring, they wanted to know again. In the morning at 5 a.m. they started the attempt and only at 10 p.m. it was actually done: 43 slide kilometers in 172 goes. Each of the twins went down 86 times. Until the end, both were highly motivated. We are thrilled and congratulate!
