For the Alpine Coaster and for our roller toboggan runs, we have developed an automatic draglift system. The riders are carried to the top of the hill seated on their toboggans. The transport cable runs underneath the toboggans in a track formed of stainless steel elements.
The toboggans engage onto the cable at the bottom station and release automatically at the top. The riders can stay on their toboggans through the station to enjoy additional circuits. The LIFTER motor can be placed at either end of the lift track.. To prevent the toboggans running back they are fitted with non-return bearings and there are additional stops in the track.

With the Wiegand Draglift Track it became possible for the first time to make use of skilifts in the summer. Vertically below the transport cable a profiled track [or Alpine Coaster rails] is set in the ground.
The T-bars are replaced with eye hooks to which the toboggans are attached manually. At the top the eye hooks disengage automatically. Non-return devices ensure that the vehicles cannot slide backwards.

Existing Chairlifts can also be used for uphill transport. No additional investment is needed and a noticeable increase in passenger numbers will create additional revenue during the summer months. The toboggans are usually hooked manually directly onto the seats, although this solution is labour-intensive. We can offer the Wiegand automatic toboggan transport system which operates alongside the chairlift.
For the Alpine-Coaster we can use a special developed system which hooks the toboggans automatically onto the seats to transport them to the top station.
