On 31 January 2006 the results of the ski area tests of summer 2005 were published in the casino in Innsbruck, Austria. Among other things the innovation prize for touristic product development in the alpine summer sector was awarded to the company Josef Wiegand GmbH & Co. KG.
The international jury under direction of Helmut Moser and Ing. Klaus Hönigsberger awarded this prize, because of the excellent test results of the product Alpine-Coaster at the Imster Bergbahn. Altogether 17 touristic companies were tested in 8 alpine areas.
